Byline: Eric Krol Daily Herald Political Writer Former Republican Gov. Jim Edgar could announce as early as today whether he'll try to reclaim his old job next year. If the answer is no, Edgar likely will announce his decision at a noontime luncheon public policy panel he's moderating in Chicago, two sources familiar with Edgar's thinking said Thursday.
