Byline: Emily Krone Daily Herald Staff Writer Libby Pappalardo intends to spend Saturday marching, Sunday learning non-violent protest techniques and Monday getting arrested. The Crystal Lake resident and busloads of other suburban activists are traveling to Washington, D.C., this weekend for the anti-Iraq war festival that organizers hope will attract tens of thousands of people.

The three-day event features a march past the White House, training in nonviolent civil resistance, grassroots lobbying and a mass act of nonviolent civil disobedience.
