Byline: Mark Foster Daily Herald Correspondent Singer Ryan Machnica and his bandmates from Crosstown Traffic belted out a Jimi Hendrix tune Saturday from under a tent in Mill Creek. The rock band and 10 other groups kicked off the concert, donating their services for the hurricane relief fund-raiser that had started with a single family in mind but had grown into a major benefit for the American Red Cross.

"Not only do I get to perform, I get to donate," Machnica said. "They still need a lot of help down there."
