Bensenville's embarrassing wrong turn Hurricane Katrina might have managed to deliver a big blow to Bensenville's image. Three Bensenville firefighters left for the storm-ravaged South on Monday morning, joining thousands of other public safety officials throughout the state and the country in eager, compassionate anticipation of helping Katrina's victims.

The firefighters got to Mississippi. Then, embarrassingly enough, they were ordered to turn around. To come all the way back to Bensenville, after driving through the night Monday.
