Byline: Norrine Twohey Daily Herald Staff Writer Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine honored Michael R. Quinlan, former chairman and chief executive officer of McDonald's Corp. and currently chairman of the board of trustees of Loyola University, Chicago, with its Sword of Loyola.
The honor recognizes outstanding service in medicine by a graduate or faculty member of Loyola's Stritch School of Medicine. Additionally Dr. Stephen Slogoff, professor of anesthesiology, retiring dean of the Stritch School of Medicine, and senior vice president for clinical affairs at Loyola University Health System was honored with the Stritch Medal, recognizing his generous acts of service to the community and his commitment to Loyola.
