Byline: Mike McGraw Daily Herald Sports Writer There was an unwelcome visitor to the Utah Jazz huddle during a home loss to New York last week. According to witnesses, Jazz owner Larry Miller unleashed an expletive-filled tirade toward his team during a timeout after Utah had been outscored 18-8 in the third quarter.

"He was vocal in the fact that he spends money on our team, and he wants us to play hard," guard Devin Brown was quoted in the Deseret News. "We need to play harder." Utah coach Jerry Sloan had little reaction to his owner's intrusion. "Larry can say whatever he wants," Sloan said. "He owns the team. I've never had a problem with that. He should be upset." Sloan felt his players were starting to feel sorry for themselves after injuries...
