CCH gets IRS invite to tax season party RIVERWOODS - CCH Inc., which provides tax, audit and accounting services, on Thursday announced it was selected by the Internal Revenue Service to provide sales tax data for all taxpayers to determine their deduction options during the 2005 tax filing season.

The sales tax tables provided by the IRS are needed to comply with the American Jobs Creation Act of 2004, which allows individuals to deduct state and local sales tax rather than state and local income tax on their federal tax returns.
