Byline: Ashok Selvam Daily Herald Staff Writer Motorists who drove on Ridge Road in Barrington Hills could catch a glimpse of a sole bouquet left at the site of Friday's wreck that killed two teens. Shards from the 2001 gold Toyota Echo which carried 16-year-olds Jose Salinas of Round Lake Park and Rick Hernandez of Grayslake remained on the ground, with the wooded scene marked off by orange fluorescent paint.
The two teens died around midnight Friday while traveling south on Ridge Road. Their car swerved into a ditch on the west side of the road before slamming into a tree, just north of the stop sign at Merri Oaks Road. Barrington Hills police did not release any new details about the accident on Sunday, and funeral arrangements remained unavailable....
