For most walk-ons, there is little glory other than the hope of brief snippets of playing time at the end of blowouts. Some do become cult heroes with fans clamoring for them to take one of the last shots with the outcome no longer an issue.
There is a real possibility of "Bucky" Cox being on the court at the end of games for Drake University. But the 2004 Barrington graduate has also been on the floor at the start of the last three games for an above-.500 team in the underrated Missouri Valley Conference.
