Patriots pick up pair of hockey victories.(Sports)

Byline: Daily Herald Reports Stevenson's hockey team skated to two more wins last week. The Patriots (22-14-5) moved into finals week by recording a solid 5-0 Metro win over Deerfield. Scott Campbell scored twice, while Chris Steigerwald, Ryan Feld and Matt Buxbaum also had goals. Buxbaum and Dan Wood each had 2 assists.

Ryan Jaegers, Quinn Brennolt, Kyle Crowley, Chris Clark and Campbell also assisted on goals. Adam Croft recorded 12 saves in earning the shutout. The Patriots also blanked Lake Forest Academy, 7-0, in a Metro North game, as Brennolt had a goal and 2 assists. Michael Burda was in the nets for the shutout.
