James C. "Stretch" Wrigley of Devonshire in Hoffman Estates The funeral service for James C. "Stretch" Wrigley, 77, formerly of Hanover Park, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, at Countryside Funeral Home, 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Road), Streamwood/Schaumburg. Interment will be in Lakewood Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. today, at the funeral home. Born Nov. 9, 1928, in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., he died Thursday, Jan. 12, 2006, in Hoffman Estates. James was an Air Force veteran. He worked for United Airlines for 41 years before retiring. He was the husband of the late Marilyn (nee Van Buskirk); father of Judy Wrigley of Elgin, Cheryl (Edward) Weisenburger of Lake in the Hills and Tracey Partin of Schaumburg; grandfather of Megan,...
