People support Lauzen's stances Some people are carping about state Sen. Chris Lauzen's conservatism. They should keep in mind that he was elected by conservative voters, people who appreciate his forthrightness, values, integrity and conservative positions on most issues. Also, it may be that Chris hasn't become more conservative in his "old age," but that the liberals have become much more liberal recently.

In fact, that is being kind, because in the last election, the Communist Party didn't even field candidates under its own banner, because the Democratic Party platform was identical to theirs, the Democrats were better financed, their party was better accepted by the electorate, etc. Unfortunately, many voters are not aware of the changes in the...
