Linda C. Furbee of Naperville since 1977 A memorial service for Linda C. Furbee, 63, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, at Wheatland-Salem United Methodist Church, 1852 95th Street, Naperville, with Rev. Dr. Scott Field and Rev. Lana Sutton officiating. A reception at the church will follow the service.

Interment will be private. She was born and raised in Boulder, Colo., and died Friday, Dec. 30, 2005, following a prolonged illness. Linda received her B.A. in education at Colorado State University. Linda taught in both the California and Illinois public schools for several years. For the last 20 years Linda served as puppeteer and program coordinator for The Kids on the Block, disabilities awareness program sponsored by Illinois Council of Camp Fire. Linda was...
