That's what was on the brochure from the University of Illinois Extension that I found on my door on an unusually warm day in late January.
The "best-looking" lawn in the neighborhood you say? Well, that award already belongs to Tom and Joan next door. But I can dream, can't I? The hot summer, the drought and the North Aurora watering ban hindered the progress of our six-year-old lawn last year and we even have some dead areas to repair.
