Duplicate bridge Playing north-south, Ed Kain and Hartley Sangerman captured first place in duplicate bridge March 24. Geri Kaiser and Marie Nugent finished at the top for east-west. Finishing in the top four for north-south, Harry Leopold and Walt Westphal placed second, Jay Kadakia and Ron Schwarz came in third and Caralee and Ron Hopman took fourth place.

For east-west, Paul Clark and Irene Cra wford came in second. Shirley Bruns and Lois Stachnik were third while Sue and Bob Pritzker took fourth place. Euchre Ken Welter led the field with a score of 79 in euchre March 24. Diane Losinski came in second with 61. Behind her Fran Sivertsen was third with 60, and Helene Laxgen placed fourth with 57.
