Ethel Marie Wolski Ethel Marie Wolski, 96, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2006, at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Round Lake. A private memorial service will be held for her on Saturday, April 8. Ethel was born Feb. 5, 1910, in Chicago to Stefan and Marie Kormanak. She lived in the Chicagoland area her whole life.
She worked at United Airlines for many years. She was an accomplished cook who authored her own cookbook, and enjoyed entertaining and traveling. Ethel was a very happy, kind and generous person. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Survivors include two daughters, Sharon Paul of Fox Lake and Arline Smith of Hopkinsville, Ky.; grandchildren: Lonnie, Stacy and Tami Anderson, Jerrell, John Michael and James McCroy and Sue Seiger.
