Mannheim/Touhy roadwork: Starting April 24, drivers should expect daily lane closures at the corner of Mannheim Road and Touhy Avenue in Des Plaines. The Illinois Department of Transportation roadwork project is expected to last until June. Crews will patch and resurface the roadway, make curb and gutter repairs and re-mark the pavement.
The contractor on the $183,000 project is Arrow Road Construction. Dist. 214 sets College Night: Northwest Suburban High School District 214 will host the annual College Night at Harper College from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Harper, Euclid and Roselle roads in Palatine.
