Milton C. Hansen A memorial concert for Mr. Milton C. Hansen, 89, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 30th, in the Oakwood Auditorium at Oakwood Village West, 6209 Mineral Point Road, Madison, Wis. Born Jan. 20, 1917, in Racine, Wis., the son of Hans Christian and Petra (Petersen) Hansen, he died Sunday, March 26, 2006.

Milt was raised in a Danish-American community in Racine, where he attended Horlick High School. He enrolled at the University of Wisconsin in Madison but left during World War II to enlist in the Army, where he earned the rank of First Lieutenant. He returned to school in Madison and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry in 1947. After college, Milt was employed for six years as a chemist in Milwaukee and Chicago. While...
