Will new name give Hollinger a boost? CHICAGO - Hollinger International Inc., publisher of the Chicago Sun-Times, plans to change its name to Sun-Times Media Group Inc. after former chairman Conrad Black was accused of stealing millions in company money. The Chicago-based company will ask shareholders to approve the name at its June 13 annual meeting in New York.
The name change may allow Hollinger International to distance itself from parent company Hollinger Inc. and Black. Hollinger International is suing Black and Toronto-based Hollinger for $542 million.
