Byline: Rob Olmstead Daily Herald Staff Writer Chicago Alderman Todd Stroger, the son of current Cook County President John H. Stroger, is favored to win the endorsement today of Democratic party bosses to replace his dad on the November ballot, but the race for selecting a temporary president until 2007 appears to still be up in the air.
Democratic committeemen will gather today to vote on John Stroger's replacement, and Chicago Alderman William Beavers has boasted that Todd Stroger has the votes - a contention that was questioned out loud weeks ago by some Democrats, but not recently.
