Community picnic Sunday: The Fox River chapter of the American Red Cross will host a community picnic at 7 p.m. Sunday at the Batavia Overseas Post 1197, 645 S. River St. The event will feature, music, magic, volleyball, horseshoes, balloon art and more. Hot dogs, bratwursts and hamburgers will be served from 5 to 6:30 p.m.

A silent auction and raffle will include a one-year membership donated by XSport Fitness and a Trek 3700 mountain bike donated by Harris Bank.
