Byline: Mike Miazga Daily Herald Correspondent Larkin graduate Keenan Blalark made his presence known recently for the Northern Illinois University football team. The 5-foot-10, 228-pound Blalark, a senior linebacker for the Huskies, recorded 14 tackles (6 solo, 8 assist, 1 tackle for loss) in NIU's 31-13 victory over Buffalo.

Heading into NIU's game Saturday at home in DeKalb against Indiana State, Blalark is second on the team in tackles with 28 (12 solos). NIU is 1-1.
