Robert M. McDonell of Arlington Heights Prayers for Robert M. McDonell, 97, formerly of Niles, will be said at 11 a.m. Wednesday, at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Road (at Northwest Highway), Mount Prospect, proceeding to St. Cecilia Church, Golf Road, (Route 58) at Meier Road, Mount Prospect, for a Mass at 11:30 a.m.

Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home. Born Aug. 28, 1909, in Ashland, Wis., he died Saturday, Sept. 23, 2006, at home. He was a graduate of Loyola University, Chicago and had a career with the Chicago Tribune that spanned more than 30 years.
