Donald F. Konwin of Rolling Meadows A Mass for Donald F. Konwin, 79, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, at St. Colette Church. Interment will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today, at Meadows Funeral Home, 3615 Kirchoff Road (1/2 block east of Route 53), Rolling Meadows.

Born April 18, 1927, in Toledo, Ohio, to Frank and Joanne (nee Kurdys) Konwin, Don completed his worldly responsibilities and was called home by his heavenly Father Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2006, at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood. Mr. Konwin was a great American and served in the Navy in the Pacific Theater in World War II.
