A day to remember the lives lost When Oliver Stone's "World Trade Center" opened at theaters this summer, there was much debate on whether it was too soon for America to watch. But today, as we commemorate the fifth anniversary of the attacks on New York, the Pentagon and on Flight 93, it's clear: Not only is it not too soon to remember, it's imperative that we reflect on that day - on the people who died and the changes that have occurred in the wake of 9/11.
While we debate the merits of the war in Iraq, we must remember that the attacks made it clear that we are in a war on terrorism. While we go about our daily lives, we must remember and be vigilant about how we can be safer in the future from mindless attacks like these. Watching "World Trade...
