Wheeling bridge project OK'd: The village of Wheeling is moving forward with the demolition and reconstruction of a pedestrian bridge on the north side of the North Suburban Library System library at 200 W. Dundee Road. The issue had been tabled in April. The Illinois Department of Transportation approved a grant for the project for $242,000.

Donate school supplies: Today is the last day to donate back-to-school supplies through the Buffalo Grove Police Department.
