Byline: Dave Boe American Honda Motor Company announced pricing for the all-new compact 2007 Honda CR-V car-based sport utility vehicle now arriving at area dealers. The popular CR-V, first introduced in 1997 now sports a third-generation makeover and continues being available in front-wheel or four-wheel drive.

The 2.4-liter four cylinder engine returns, but horsepower is now 166 up 10 from 2006. No six cylinder engine is offered. CR-V is also a five-passenger exclusive model with no third row seating. Pricing starts at $20,600 for the lowest-priced model, a two- wheel-drive LX. All 2007 CR-V models come with five-speed automatic transmission.
