Roskam will serve in public's best interest I volunteered for World War II, and my son volunteered for Vietnam. Both us served in combat. Therefore, we both commend Tammy Duckworth for her volunteer service and empathize with her sacrifice. However, when we vote we are not voting for military skills or sacrifice, we are voting to hire an employee to serve our best interests in Congress.
Congress, being the legislative branch of our government, requires legislators with a knowledge and ability to formulate legislation that will serve the best interests of our entire country in full compliance of the Constitution.
