Gordon T. Gebhardt of Elgin A memorial service for Gordon T. Gebhardt, 77, formerly of Elk Grove Village for 32 years, will be held at noon Saturday, Oct. 28, in the chapel at Willow Creek Community Church, 67 Algonquin Road, South Barrington. Mr. Gebhardt was a Korean War veteran, having served in the Air Force.
Gordon was the beloved husband of Joan (nee Eilers); loving father of David (Julie) of South Elgin, Donald (Barbara) of Phoenix and Tracey Gebhardt; dear grandfather of Michael, Christian and Bo Gebhardt, Cindy (John) Hearty and Jim Corder; great-grandfather of Catie and Matthew; fond brother of Dorothy Nielsen of Carol Stream, George of Rock Springs, Wyo., and the late William Gebhardt.
