Byline: Rob Olmstead Daily Herald Staff Writer With his campaign for Cook County Board president just three months old, Todd Stroger on Tuesday accepted the second resignation of a staffer who has come under the scrutiny of law enforcement. Sean Howard resigned Tuesday morning as word of his arrest Friday leaked out.

Although Howard was officially billed as the scheduler of the campaign, he also appeared to have more of a managerial role in the campaign and frequently attended functions with Stroger. Howard was pulled over in the early hours of Friday on the 2300 block of Vollmer Road in Olympia Fields for a "minor traffic violation," police in that town said.
