Aftermarket tapped to supply Ford, GM DOWNERS GROVE - Aftermarket Technology Corp. announced key contracts with Ford Motor Co. and General Motors Corp. that put Aftermarket a step closer to achieving its big picture idea for its drivetrain business. Aftermarket will supply remanufactured transmissions, or old transmissions reengineered as new, for the new Ford Edge and GMC Acadia.

Aftermarket anticipates they will be used in about one in every four vehicles made by Ford and GM in North America over the next four years. This is the first deal Aftermarket has signed with GM.
