Peter Grant Melvin A memorial service for Peter Grant Melvin, 49, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1, at Community Christian Church, 1970 Riverwoods Road, Lincolnshire. Interment is private. Peter, a veteran of the Air Force, passed away suddenly Monday, Nov. 27, 2006. He was the beloved husband of Laura (nee Davis) and best friend and companion of Jessie; loving son of Ralph (Marilyn) and the late Barbara Melvin; dear brother of Randall (Lorna); adoring uncle of Adam, Steven and Matthew; son-in law of Richard and Patricia Davis; brother-in-law of Lesley Weatherford; and uncle of Henry and Ricky Weatherford.

He will be missed by his extended families and many friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Allendale Association, Attn: Development Office,...
