Grace M. Lofgren lifelong resident of Elgin The visitation for Grace M. Lofgren, 97, will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral services at 1 p.m. Tuesday, at the Laird Funeral Home, 310 S. State St., Elgin. Burial will be in Bluff City Cemetery, Elgin. Born Sept. 2, 1909, in Elgin, the daughter of Ellsworth and Sarah Dixon Mooney, she passed away Friday, Nov.

17, 2006, at Heritage Manor, Elgin. Mrs. Lofgren was employed at Cooper Drug Store and then Adkemann's Department Store in Better Dresses for many years before retiring. She was a member of Navy Club of Elgin. She was fond of antiques, had a great sense of humor and loved animals.
