Douglas R. Burklund of Streamwood Memorial funeral services for Douglas R. Burklund, 62, will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, at the Miller Funeral Home, 504 W. Main St., West Dundee. Interment will be private. Doug's family will be receiving friends from 3 p.m. until the time of services. Born Oct.

1, 1944, in Paxton, Ill., to Everett and Gladys (nee Hunt) Burklund, he passed away Sunday, Nov. 19, 2006, at Loyola University Foster G.McGaw Hospital in Maywood. On Sept. 30, 1967, in Watseka, Ill., Doug married Judith A. Wellborn. Doug retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 30 years as a supervisor and carrier.
