Byline: Henry Stuttley Daily Herald Staff Writer Party time officially kicked off Saturday afternoon when at least 30 children began wildly leaping to the sounds of "jump, jump, jump." And they were just getting under way. Shortly after, lines formed. Hands waved in the air. And as more joined in, they danced between the tables inside the cafeteria at Lisle Junior High.
What started as a nice, social gathering with games, grew into a full-fledged party featuring area children at the Christmas party, hosted by the Lisle Kiwanis Club. "We think it's exciting to make Christmas a little bit better for all the kids around here and sometimes it even makes things nicer for the parents, too," said Dale Rammien, a Kiwanis member.
