Bears or bubbly? A fan's dilemma.(News)

The National Football League and NBC-TV have decided that among all the games to be played in the final week of the regular season, the one with the best chance of exciting a nationwide audience on New Year's Eve is the Bears-Packers affair at Soldier Field. For thousands of local fans, the result is either the ruin or the brightening of New Year's plans.

We asked our staff which was more likely. Here are some of their thoughts: RUN - We'd rather watch the ball drop at midnight than out of Muhsin Muhammad's hands - NFL = No Fun Late - There's a reason most fantasy football leagues wrap up their playoffs inWeek 16, instead of the final week.
