Byline: Sara Faiwell Jennifer Pitek, an administrative assistant at Harper College, decided this year she'd collect goods for a community in need - pets. So she's organized a holiday food drive for homeless dogs and cats. Pitek and the staff in Harper's Center for New Students will hold their fourth annual drive and everything will be donated to local animal shelters in need, including the Almost Home Foundation and Chicagoland Dog Rescue, two not-for-profit organizations.
