Byline: Michael Wamble Daily Herald Staff Writer If Matt Roth can sack New England Patriots star Tom Brady, surely he can tackle this problem: His hometown of Villa Park has no youth football program. Roth, a 2000 graduate of Willowbrook High School who now plays defensive end for the Miami Dolphins, has made a $5,000 donation to his hometown.
The NFL matched Roth's gift. The $10,000 will be used to help start a new youth football program in Villa Park, said local resident Jeff Taylor, who is supporting the effort led by Willowbrook assistant football coach Matt Bowser.
