Margaret J. Smogor A Mass for Margaret J. Smogor will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 29, at St. James Church, Arlington Heights. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 28, at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (four blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights.

Margaret was a graduate of DePaul University in Chicago, where she was active in student government and editor of the university newspaper. She received her teaching degree and went on to become a dedicated and respected teacher. Margaret began her career at Saint Wenceslaus in Chicago. She later volunteered her teaching abilities to the development and building of Saint Catherine Laboure School in Glenview....
