Larkin graduate Boscaljon earns Horizon League honor.(Sports)(Off at college)

Byline: Mike Miazga Daily Herald Correspondent Larkin graduate alum Ruth Boscaljon, a freshman on the Youngstown State women's volleyball team, was named the Horizon League Co-Newcomer of the Year. Boscaljon was also named to the All-Horizon League and All Horizon League Newcomer teams. A 6-foot-3 middle blocker, Boscaljon is the first player in school history to earn all-league honors since the Penguins joined the Horizon League in 2001.
She is also the first Youngstown State player to earn a newcomer of the year honor since Melissa Lyczkowski was named the Mid-Continent Conference's top newcomer in 1998.
