Insensitivity to the concept of diversity Apparently, the city of Chicago "chickened out" and dropped the ball when it banned "The Nativity Story" from the Christkindlmarket. Why did the city select just this Christian symbolism to be banned at Christmas time? If the city really believes that this movie should be banned because it might offend non-Christians, then its officials should take their concern to its logical conclusion and ban all holiday representations, Christian and non-Christian alike.

After all, Christmas trees might also offend non-Christians. And Menorahs might offend Christians. As a matter of fact, this policy of the city would logically demand that all churches, temples and mosques should be removed because they all represent beliefs...
