I know, you were in one as a baby, and you turned out fine, but if the physician-members of the American Academy of Pediatrics had their wish, the wheeled infant walker would be a thing of the past.

Since 1995, the AAP has repeatedly recommended, without success, that U.S. agencies ban these mobile walkers. Our neighbor to the north, Canada, has had a nationwide ban in place since 2004.
