Byline: Mike Miazga Daily Herald Correspondent Burlington Central alum Jenna Real was recently named the Horizon League women's basketball player of the week. Real is now a senior forward on the Loyola University Chicago team. Real was selected for the award after averaging 23.0 points per game and 6.5 rebounds a contest while shooting .720 (18-for-25) from the free-throw line during a recent stretch.
It was the first player of the week award for Real at Loyola. Real opened the two-game stretch by scoring a season-high 25 points on 10-for-14 shooting in a 67-55 conference win against Youngstown State.
