Byline: Ted Cox Daily Herald TV/Radio Columnist "The Apprentice" moves from Manhattan to Los Angeles when it returns for its sixth season at 8:30 p.m. Sunday on NBC's WMAQ Channel 5. I think I speak for all Chicagoans when I say it's never felt so good to live in what East and West Coast snoots call "the fly-over zone." So wave to Donald Trump as he passes overhead if you must, but know the change of venue is being done with a purpose.
"The Apprentice" has been steadily losing viewers with each installment, and it needs a fresh approach. What it could really use is a new host, because the blustery Trump and his "You're fired" tagline have long outlived their shelf life. But Trump, of course, is a producer of the series, along with "Survivor" reality-TV...
