William Halpin of Grayslake A memorial Mass for William Halpin, 78, formerly of Des Plaines for 36 years, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 4, at St. Mary of the Annunciation Church (Fremont Center), 22333 W. Erhart Road, Mundelein, IL 60060. Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Mundelein.
Born Dec. 29, 1927, in Chicago, he died Saturday, Dec. 23, 2006, in Libertyville. Mr. Halpin was employed in the printing industry and worked for Hall Printing. He was a graduate of DePaul University and a member of North Suburban Wood Carvers. He retired from I.A.M. Local 126, specializing in the printing trade. He was a charter member and mentor of Saddlebrook Farms Wood Carving Club. William was the husband of Marjorie J. (nee Ryan), whom he married on Oct....
