Virginia E. "Ginny" Melahn of West Dundee The funeral service for Virginia E. "Ginny" Melahn, 77, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, in the Miller Funeral Home, 504 W. Main St., West Dundee. The Rev. Steven Mindrup, Pastor, will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, in the funeral home.

Born Oct. 5, 1929, in Champaign, Ill., the daughter of the late Hon. Judge Burl A. and Reba (nee Peabody) Edie, she died Saturday, Dec. 30, 2006, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was a 1951 graduate of the University of Illinois, Champaign, where she earned a bachelor's degree in business.
