Byline: Bob Kocher Special to the Daily Herald As a mid-size sedan, the new 2008 Dodge Avenger is bold with aggressive styling that hints all over of Dodge heritage. My first drive with the 2008 Dodge Avenger, in high desert of Arizona, was also bold as I drove past the great Caucus of the desert covered with snow.

Not quite how I vision the Desert in late January, but very neat as was this mid-size segment sedan. Exterior wise, the new Avenger is a bulls-eye hit and a great aggressive jump past the Dodge Stratus it replaces. Both inside and out Dodge designers did their homework in this very competitive segment. The overall design stands out well in the mid-size segment.
