Ronald Lee "Ron" Sedrick of South Elgin Services for Mr. Ronald Lee "Ron" Sedrick, 61, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, at the Yurs- Wittenberg Funeral Home, 1771 W. State St. (Route 38), Geneva. Interment will be private. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

Born Feb. 13, 1945, in Pollard, Ark., to Virgil Lee and Wilma Evelyn Sedrick, he died Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2007. Ron served his country in the Air Force from 1962 to 1966, during which time he was stationed in Hawaii. He also served his community as the first paramedic of South Elgin and as a South Elgin Little League coach. He was a valued employee of Head Inc. in South Elgin for more than 30 years.
