Byline: Alicia Fabbre Daily Herald Staff Writer Retirement doesn't come naturally for Bill Smith. He's tried it - twice - only to go back to work and start new companies. His latest venture - DS Containers in Batavia - opened last year and has Smith taking on some "breakthrough" changes in the can industry.
"I have no interest in retiring," said Smith, a veteran of the can industry. "I have too much fun working." Those who know him understand. "He's just the kind of guy who would want to work forever," said Jack McGoldrick, a spokesman for DS Container who met Smith during their days together at American Can.
