Byline: Amie Shak Daily Herald Staff Writer A 27-year-old Geneva man is in the hospital after the car he was driving hit two electrical boxes, causing a temporary power outage early Sunday, police said. Juan Alberto Gomez, of the 1200 block of Kostner Court, was driving south at 3:31 a.m.
on Kirk Road when his 1994 Pontiac Grand Prix left the road, hit the power boxes, rolled and came to rest on the west side of the roadway on the 600 block of South Kirk Road, police said. St. Charles Police and Fire Rescue extricated Gomez from his car. Power was out in the immediate area but was restored within the hour, police said.
